I'm 2/3 done with my write something every day project. Aside from a few days where I had to "make up" writing for the previous day while we were traveling and a couple of slightly over the midnight line days, I've done exceptionally well. I have written 264 poems, or poem-like ramblings, 135 pages of journaling, and one story idea brainstorm so far.
What I've learned from this project is that I can always write something, even when I feel like I can't or I feel like I don't have any ideas. Often times I write something better than expected (well since I had expected nothing, anything is better than expected, but you know what I mean). What I write on days where I feel stuck is usually just a messier rough draft than on good days, but ultimately it's all about getting at the kernel that I can work on expanding or polishing later on.
So if you feel stuck--keep going! I promise that you can.
