Writer's Digest Poetry Prompts

So it's nanowrimo month.  If you're not sure what that means, it stands for National Novel Writing Month--writers challenge themselves to write 50,000 words toward a novel in 30 days.

There are lots of resources out there if you're into novel writing, but today I want to focus on the PAD (poem a day) challenge that Writer's Digest hosts in November.  They also host one in April during napowrimo (National Poetry Writing Month). And the rest of the year there are weekly prompts posted.  When I'm stuck and need some inspiration, these prompts, and the poems posted in the comments, are one of my favorite go-tos.

Check it out here: http://www.writersdigest.com/editor-blogs/poetic-asides/poetry-prompts

And good luck to all of you writers participating in nanowrimo!
