The University of Iowa's International Writing Program has created 3 MOOCs (Massive Online Open Courses) for those interested in learning about writing. The second assignment has just been posted for the Poetry writing class and they will be hosting a fiction writing course in the Fall (they have already done an open course about Walt Whitman, so I'm not sure if they'll be offering it again or creating more).
Even if you don't submit assignments or participate in the workshops, it's interesting to watch the videos and try out the assignments for writing.
